THE ASSIGNMENT
I was asked to design a collection of bicycle bags, including two double bags and a single bag. I worked closely with the team from Cordo to design a collection that could be produced quickly, while still maintaining the Oilily signature style.
THE RESULT
Because this is a new product group for Oilily and consumers need to be able to recognize the brand, I used the signature pattern, red and pink for the designs and added some subtle colour contrasts. I have added functionality with a bottle holder for the inside for when the bags are used for grocery shopping and non flapping sides for smooth biking. I also added reflecting parts for safety. The single, pick-up bag has a shoulder strap and a padded pocket for a laptop.
