DESIGN AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Ducky Beau is a fashion brand for premature babies to toddlers. I have worked as a designer for Ducky Beau for two years, after which I became head designer for a year and a half.
I worked with the management on new concepts, products, commercial opportunities and strategic developments of the brand. I did trend research during fashion fairs, made storyboards to set up the new collection themes and based the range on the given budget and past sales results.
I designed boys, girls and unisex collections and made sure the factories in China, India and Turkey followed the style-sheets and size specs carefully to achieve the wanted style and quality. I challenged myself going the extra mile to get only the safest materials and organic cotton.
I created several diverse and matching collections including denim, woven, knitwear and jersey items and made the tech-packs, all-over prints, placement prints, embroideries, badges, labels and other artwork. I also did the sample control and feedback for production.
